Jazz in Great Harwood

Billy Butterfield
Billy Butterfield     September 1977

Larger than life and with a tone to match, Billy Butterfield brought an atmosphere of old Chicago into Great Harwood that night. Playing mainly flugelhorn, he could let rip or play ballads with equal virtuosity. This was a man whom you felt could have held his own in any company.

See  www.theiceberg.com  for more about his career.
