Jazz in Great Harwood

Humphrey Lyttelton
Humphrey Lyttelton     October 1977

We were lucky on the night that Humph came because he brought his colleague of old, Joe Temporly. I suppose Humph is not just a wonderful trumpet player but also a 'celebrity' but he came across that night as a down-to-earth jazz musician who enjoyed doing his job and doing it well. Joe is now based in America so it was a special treat for us that night.
